engine
the interior and rust spots
The interior seats have been reupholstered once. They are worn. The headliner, carpet, and door panels are fine.
It is a four door with out a post. This was called a rivera model.
There is some slight rust at the roof line and also in the lower left quarter panel.
This was caused by a leakey tail pipe.
1956 buick roadmaster
The 1956 Buick had several models the roadmaster was the luxury model.
It came with electric windows, power seats, power antennae, automatic transmission, power brakes and power steering.
I have owned this car since 1987. It has been repainted in the factory colors of Tahitian Coral, and Dover white. It needs to be repainted as the paint is faded, The engine has been rebuilt professionaly 40,000 miles ago. The transmission has been rebuilt and has a life time warranty for parts and labor through AAMCO transmission. The interior is worn in several spots on the seats. The chrome and stainless are in very good shape. The radio works along with the heater. I have driven it to California and Chicago and it travels well on the interstate.
The power steering usually needs to warm up and then it works well.
